Hedgehog Painted Stone jewellery-birds Painted on a NZ beach

Painted on a NZ beach stone with artist's acrylic

The Brown Hare is native to Europe but also found in NZ - I've occasionally spotted one bounding along in the distance when out walking in the country

This painting was inspired by the various blackbird babies who appear in our garden every spring and perch here and there - looking delightfully fat and fluffy - while waiting for their overworked parents to bring them the next meal

as well as the delicate beauty of our native flora

A fine art print taken from the original acrylic painting 'Meadow Dreams'
